California TRU registrationdeadline is rapidly nearing

July 31, 2009, is the deadline for registering California-based transport refrigeration units (TRUs) and TRU generator sets with the California Air Resources Board (ARB). Register TRUs and TRU gensets online at the Air Resources Board Equipment Registration (ARBER) system. ARBER may be accessed at www.arb.ca.gov/arber/arber.htm. Registration is free. Instructions and help screens are provided in the left navigation bar of this website. Phone the TRU Help Line at 1-888-878-2826 if assistance is required. Enforcement of the TRU registration requirement begins in August 2009. Citations will be issued to all non-compliant TRU owners and operators. Penalties will be ...
