CARB verifies Johnson Matthey’s particulate filter

Johnson Matthey’s ACCRT (Advanced CCRT) system, the second generation benchmark CCRT filter technology for 2.5g nitrogen oxides (NOx) EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) and non-EGR engines, has been verified by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for reducing particulate matter by more than 90%, while meeting CARB’s stringent nitrogen dioxide (NO2) requirements. The ACCRT system uses three distinct catalytic formulas specifically engineered for optimum performance.
