Mack MP diesel engines are certified for EPA2010

Mack Trucks Inc diesel engines have been certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board to meet the near-zero emissions standards that take effect in January 2010. The Mack MP7 and MP8 engines are now officially recognized to meet the strictest diesel emissions standards in the world. EPA certification was issued November 16, and the CARB certification November 10. The Mack engines have been fully certified to meet EPA’s standards without the use of emissions credits.
