AiroCide TiO2 stops anthrax in its tracks

A device used to remove ethylene gas from produce and floral handling areas has been converted into a machine that controls the cross-contamination of anthrax. Produced by KES Science & Technology Inc, AiroCide TiO2 uses space-certified technology that evolved from National Aeronautics & Space Administration-financed research. Laboratory tests published Dec 3, 2001 by microbiologists from the University of Wisconsin prove AiroCide TiO2 kills up to 93.3% of anthrax spores in a single pass through its reactor.
