Device warns animals away from vehicles

DesignTech International Inc's Deer Alert system for vehicles emits both ultrasonic sounds to warn off small animals and sonic sounds for deer, moose, and other large animals. These sounds sweep from ultrasonic tones to lower-pitch, audible tones to alert a range of animals to the presence of a moving vehicle. Unlike wind-activated devices, Deer Alert works at any speed, has a range of up to 2,000 feet, and can be turned on or off.
