Sysco Corp sets sights on 18th fold-out DC

Houston TX-based foodservice distributor Sysco Corp plans to build a broadline foodservice fold-out distribution center in Longview TX. A site on State Highway 149, south of Interstate 20, has tentatively been selected, and due diligence is underway. This new facility likely will be operating in first quarter 2008. It will serve restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels, colleges, retirement homes, and other foodservice operations in east Texas and parts of Arkansas and Louisiana.
